Thanks to the Siteman Family Foundation, Pianos for People refurbished its Cherokee location in mid-2014 (with additional in-kind support from Lawrence Group Architects and Roeser Construction) to accommodate two sound-proof private teaching studios, a larger space for group lessons and recitals, a stage, and small office area. Pianos for People is proud of the beautiful, safe, inviting space that we have created. Since opening the doors to the Piano School in October, we have registered over 40 students, and interest continues to grow.
The 2015 Siteman Family Foundation Grant will allow us to build on this momentum, as well as purchase additional materials to enhance the teaching experience.
